Kambo is a, "bio active," secretion produced by the Phyllomedusa Bicolor Monkey Tree Frog in the Amazon rain forest. Traditions are practiced with kambo by several tribes in the region of Acre as a holistic form of healing and cleansing of the mind, body, and spirit. This sacred medicine has been in use for centuries and is considered by the tribes to be the most powerful of all the medicines in the Amazon. Contrary to popular belief, Kambo is not a poison.
